The Power of Questioning: A Journey Through Evidence and Faith

In an age where information is readily available, it's tempting to accept familiar narratives without pausing to ask why. But for those of us on journeys that challenge deep-seated beliefs, questioning becomes essential. I started this blog to encourage an often-overlooked but transformative approach: the pursuit of evidence-based truth, especially within matters of faith that shape our identities and worldviews.

When I transitioned from Islam to Christianity, I didn’t do so lightly. Every step was marked by questions that demanded answers, supported by evidence, logic, and a willingness to go where the answers led—even if they were uncomfortable. Along the way, I discovered rich historical, theological, and cultural insights that reshaped my understanding of both Islam and Christianity, revealing complexities that most people miss in the rush to defend their positions.

Through these posts, I aim to explore the evidence behind often-unasked questions. We’ll delve into topics like the origins of certain Islamic practices, the historical intersection of Christian and Muslim beliefs, and what happens when ancient traditions meet modern society. I won’t claim to have all the answers, but I believe that by examining facts together, we can reach clearer, more honest conclusions.

My goal here is to foster a space that respects both intellect and faith, where readers feel invited to engage, question, and reflect deeply. If you’re curious about faith or open to exploring challenging questions with evidence-based insights, I encourage you to follow along. Together, we’ll take on thought-provoking topics that could change the way you see the world

About Me

Born and raised in Cairo, I’ve walked a unique path from a Muslim background to becoming a follower of Jesus. My journey has been shaped by questions, deep study, and a desire to bridge understanding between two worlds often seen in contrast: Christianity and Islam. With years of experience in ministry and a background in theological studies, I’m passionate about engaging in thoughtful, evidence-based discussions on faith, culture, and interfaith dialogue.

Currently, I serve as a regional director at Crescent Project in Dallas, where I focus on equipping Christians to engage meaningfully with their Muslim neighbors. I bring insights from my own life, my heritage, and my studies to present fresh perspectives on some of the most profound topics in faith and ministry today.

This blog is where I share these reflections, unpopular ideas, and resources, always aiming to spark curiosity and open the door for deeper understanding. Whether you're here out of curiosity or conviction, I'm glad you're along for the journey.
